I always take some time out today to reflect on the year just gone.
. 
It helps to round off the year and let’s me identify my biggest lessons and magic moments of the year! 
. 
We can be so busy living life that we forget to celebrate the small wins along the way! 
. 
These questions have been adapted from some shared with me from the Institute for you. 
.
Knowing ourselves is our greatest learning and feeds our growth. 
. 
In nature your are either growing or dying and it is my mission to help you grow so you live a life of no regrets so that you do not need to end up in a hospital bed like me to find out the person you wish you had been, the impact you could of had and the lives you could of touched!

I would love to hear some of your answers to these questions! Remember that we all have to start from somewhere! The best place to start is today 🥰🙌

As an over-giver, you can spend Christmas day trying to make sure that everyone else has a perfect day. ⁠
.⁠
The last one to bed and the first one up trying to make it perfect. ⁠
.⁠
The truth is there is no such thing as perfection! ⁠
.⁠
You will enjoy the day more if you give yourself time to enjoy it too.  Time to be present with the people around rather than worrying about if the dinner was good enough or if someone is not enjoying themselves or not. ⁠
.⁠
If you find yourself stuck over-giving or doing simply take a few minutes to take a few deep breaths.⁠
.⁠
❤️ Make a conscious effort to get out of your head and back into the here and now.⁠
.⁠
❤️ Stop and take in the room around you, the smells, the sights, the sounds.⁠
.⁠
❤️ What about it makes you happy? ⁠
.⁠
❤️ Ask what can you be grateful for in this moment? ⁠
.⁠
❤️ Then do something nice for yourself (even just enjoying a cup of tea or wine!)whilst doing nothing else. ⁠
.⁠
❤️ Bring yourself back into balance and peace. ⁠
.⁠
❤️ It is Christmas day for you too! and you are supposed to have a good time as much as everyone else! ⁠

Hold on Pain Ends - Nothing ever stays the same. ⁠

Everything is always changing. ⁠

Knowing this allows you to have hope in any situation. ⁠

How has hope helped me? ⁠

I really needed hope when I was in the hospital the 2nd time. ⁠
.⁠
It was the love and support of the people around me that gave me hope when I really needed it. I didn't have to do it all on my own (Like I have always done in the past!)!⁠

❤️It made me realise that life was happening for me and not to me. ⁠
.⁠
❤️It allowed me to see the positives in the situation (I was still alive for starters!) ⁠
.⁠
❤️ It made me realise what really mattered in life (it's people and not things) and that I could get through this (as we never know what we are truly capable off until we have to). ⁠
.⁠
❤️It gave me a new focus in life. ⁠
.⁠
⭐️ I have stepped into the leading role in my life rather than always playing the supporting actor. ⁠
.⁠
⭐️ I gave myself permission to share my story in the hope that I could help others to overcome similar challenges. ⁠
.⁠
⭐️This month I became a #1 best selling author across 12 countries and it gives me hope that anything really is truly possible! ⁠

🤦🏻‍♀️ We can get so used to putting what everyone else wants, needs and thinks before us that we forget that we matter too! ⁠

❤️ It can be as simple as getting up a little earlier so you can nature your body and mind.⁠
.⁠
❤️ Making sure that you take time out away from your desk to eat fresh and healthy food.⁠
.⁠
❤️ Saying no to the next request for help as you don't really have the time.⁠
.⁠
❤️ Or making time to start that fitness regime you have been planning for months but never find the time. ⁠
.⁠
❤️ It's all about stopping and asking yourself what do I need today and then doing that without feeling guilty or worrying what others may think. ⁠
.⁠
❤️ Fill yourself up first so you can give from a place of love and kindness as it all starts from within! ⁠
.⁠
⭐️ What is your biggest challenge when it comes to making yourself a priority?
We often ask people "how are you today?" and the a We often ask people "how are you today?" and the automatic response is 'im doing ok' even when that is not the case! ⁠
.⁠
I know I have been guilty of that in the past! ⁠
.⁠
It wasn't until someone asked me 'How are you feeling today?" that I had to stop and actually check in with myself to answer the question as I had no automatic answer for that question! ⁠
.⁠
It was a great way of getting me to stop and be honest! ⁠
.⁠
My answer today would be "I'm feeling productive as I have lots to do and feel like I've got the energy and time balance about right today so looking forward to getting started".⁠
